DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT AND LEARNING SUPPORT

The Development Support and Learning Support (DS-LS) offers early intervention for mainstream preschool children (K1 and K2) with mild developmental delays, to overcome challenges in their early stages of learning.

DS-LS seeks to support children by focusing on their immediate environment, such as parents, teachers and classmates, to help them overcome their challenges holistically. Therapy and learning support are provided to help children generalise skills acquired during intervention to a classroom set-up.

DS-LS offers two types of services for children with mild developmental needs.

  1. Development Support: Provides children with focused, short-term specialised and individualised intervention once a week over a 15-week period. Intervention includes:
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Educational Therapy
  • Psychology Therapy

Learning Support: Provides children with weekly support over a period of 6 or 10 weeks. Intervention includes a focus on the following areas:

  • Language Building
  • Literacy
  • Motor Skills
  • Social Skills
