AWWA READYCARE CENTRE

 

The AWWA READYCARE Centre provides rehabilitation services to elderly people with physical challenges. We also offer day-care services for the elderly. Counselling is available if you or your family members encounter difficulties in coping with your caring commitments.

Who we help

Any elderly person who has physical challenges from:

 

  • Neurological conditions such as stroke or Parkinson’s disease
  • Arthritic conditions, e.g. “frozen shoulder”, back and neck ache.
  • Fractures, e.g. fractured neck or femur
  • General weakness, difficulty in walking, frequent falls and difficulty in coping with daily activities
  • Diabetic conditions with amputation or lower limb weakness

We also offer training to caregivers of the elderly. Transport to our centre is provided if you live in Ang Mo Kio

 

 

Our operating hours:

Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and AWWA designated days.

 

Admission

Applications for admission can be made directly to us  or through the medical social worker of a hospital.
