Your physical does not limit your mind! Aaron Sim, who is diagnosed with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and Asperger’s Syndrome, attains an excellent academic record and is an active advocate for persons with disabilities.

Aaron, despite requiring medication for his heart and a ventilator to assist in his breathing when he sleeps, his strong will to succeed spurred him on, and he achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.7 over 4 in Secondary Three, with a total of four distinctions. He is also a Bronze Awarded Math Olympiad!

Aaron actively contributes back to the community. He completed 24 hours of volunteering work with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Singapore, raising awareness with his classmates. He also participates in regular para canoeing sessions in MacRitchie and builds good relationships with peers.
