Enabled Living @ Bedok

The Enabled Living Programme (ELP) is a community living initiative that empowers adults with disabilities with low to moderate support needs to live independently for as long as possible.

Sited in public rental flats, ELP helps adults with disabilities age in place by providing an ecosystem of care and social support that includes on-site services – such as daily living and social skills coaching and community engagement.

By fostering community integration, ELP supports adults with disabilities to build meaningful connections, enhancing their overall well-being, autonomy, and dignity.

ELP is an initiative by the Ministry of Social and Family Development and SG Enable under the Enabling Masterplan 2030.

Services Offered

Personalised Support

We work with each client to identify their aspirations and needs, then co-develop a tailored support plan that includes referrals, coordination of services, and regular check-ins to ensure progress and safety.

We also provide coaching to further help develop independent living and social skills.

Community Integration and Engagement

Our clients will be supported to build and maintain relationships with family, neighbours, and the wider community through inclusive social activities and awareness-building efforts.

AWWA’s Enabled Living @ Bedok offers a co-living arrangement in HDB 2-room rental flats designed for persons who value independence while benefiting from personalised support and community integration. We serve persons with physical disability, hearing loss and/or visual impairment.

Please refer to the SG Enable’s Enabling Guide for more information on the programme, including admission criteria as well as the interest form.
