Numeracy Department

The AWWA School’s Numeracy Curriculum strives to enable our students to acquire the foundational mathematics skills to effectively apply them in their daily experiences across school, home, work and community settings. In the junior programme, we build our students’ foundation on number sense and number operations by curating engaging learning activities through songs, stories, games, role-play and routines. The applied numeracy curriculum for the senior programme emphasises the functional application of numeracy concepts in daily routines and activities across home, work and community settings.
