Kampung AWWA is an integrated social space designed to nurture a vibrant and caring community, with a special focus on seniors, caregivers, and residents. Now, senior baristas are running a community café where guests can contribute any amount they wish, with all proceeds supporting seniors in the community.
Our Centre Manager of our Active Ageing Centre, Man Shan, and one of our senior clients, Dorothy, were interviewed by Susan Ng on CNA938’s Family Ties segment last weekend. In the interview, they shared more about Kampung AWWA, and what we are doing to support seniors in the Ang Mo Kio neighbourhood.
