Mdm Vijayah Ponnusamy, Senior Case Worker, Health and Senior Care @ SCH, AWWA spoke with Tamil Murasu for a feature on Mother’s Day. When Mdm Vijayah, who was initially hesitant when she first set foot into the AWWA Senior Community home (previously known as the Ang Mo Kio Community Home for the Aged), became a supportive and loving leader over the years. Although any job is bound to have many challenges, Mdm Vijayah cherishes the relationships forged with many of her former clients. She remains motivated by the supportive environment fostered by AWWA and her supervisors.
