AWWA, to me, is…“partnering seniors to live well in the community”.
Sean is AWWA’s Director of Health & Senior Care, reporting to CEO Karthik. In his capacity as Director, Sean is responsible for a suite of services that promote the health and social integration of seniors, including AWWA Senior Community Home (launched in 1976) and AWWA’s second Dementia Day Care Centre at Yishun (launched in 2018).
Sean started his career at Singapore General Hospital, where he managed the operations of Specialist Outpatient Clinics at the Singapore Heart Centre. Prior to joining AWWA in April 2023, Sean held management and leadership positions in private and public healthcare institutions and the community care sector.
A former active grassroots leader within the Punggol North precinct, Sean holds a Master’s in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration.
Sean was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) (COVID-19) for contributing to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
