Community Integration Service Awards 2025

At the 2025 AWWA Community Integration Service Awards, 30 individuals, including nine-year-old Zoe Ng, who lives with Harlequin Ichthyosis and no hands, were recognised for their resilience, perseverance, and positive attitudes in overcoming physical and developmental challenges. The event also celebrated caregivers, such as Zoe’s father, and advocates for inclusivity like para-athlete Durkeswaran Krishnan, highlighting the vital role of family, educators, and community support in helping children with special needs thrive. AWWA’s longstanding programme supports holistic development, school integration, and social participation for young people with disabilities, reflecting a growing commitment across Singapore to build a more understanding and inclusive society.
