AWWA School

Curriculum
Our curriculum is specially curated to help our students unlock their full potential at every life stage.
- Junior Programme – 7 to 12 years old
- Senior Programme – 13 to 18 years old
We build well-rounded learners with a focus on the following domains:
- Language
- Numeracy
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Life Skills
- Visual Arts
- Physical Education
- Vocational Training

Our students’ learning is supplemented by both Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) and Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), both of which help to build values, communication skills, daily independent and community living skills, and social-emotional regulation strategies that are critical in helping them thrive across different settings.
Every AWWA School student is nurtured with the support and collaboration of an experienced and dedicated team of educators, allied health professionals and therapists, and psychologists.
Individualised Education Plan (IEP)
Every student at AWWA gets a plan that is tailored for their own learning, based on their interests, inputs from their families, and professional expertise from our school team.
Individualised Transition Plan (ITP)
At age 13, students, their families, and the school team work together to create an Individualised Transition Plan (ITP) to support the student’s future goals and needs. At 16, students are guided towards post-18 pathways with vocational and community training, preparing them for future placements. Those on Supported Employment and Sheltered Workshop tracks participate in school and community attachments, while Supported Employment students gain work experience to help them transition smoothly into the workplace after graduation.
