Senior Activity Centre

Started in 1997, Senior Activity Centre is a drop-in centre that provides an environment for low-income seniors to be meaningfully engaged through community programmes, and social, recreational and therapeutic activities. It aims to support low-income seniors in remaining integrated in society, improve their quality of life and prevent social isolation.

Key activities include:

  • Physical exercise and meals
  • Volunteer-led outings
  • Social activities like birthday and festive celebrations, karaoke sessions and Handicraft Interest Group
  • Home visits
  • Information & Referrals, and Case Management

Integrated Resource and Network (IRENE)​

Started in 2017, Integrated Resource and Network (IRENE), seeks to promote mental wellness among seniors aged 50 and above.

IRENE promotes awareness on good mental wellbeing among seniors who are at risk of being socially isolated and active aging through early detection, and preventative efforts.

Key activities include:

  • Outreach activities to seniors and caregivers to promote awareness on importance of good mental wellbeing.
  • Conduct screenings to support early detection of signs and symptoms of mental health conditions.


  • Provide information and emotional support to seniors and caregivers by linking them up with other complementary services in the community.
  • Promote active ageing through physical exercise, brain-stimulating activities, social connectivity, and dietary advice.

  • Monday to Friday (Closed on the Weekends, Public Holidays and AWWA designated days):
    8.30am – 5.30pm
