AWWA to me is…“passion, empowerment, and hope”.
Linda is the Principal of AWWA School @ Bedok, reporting to CEO Karthik. AWWA School @ Bedok commenced operations in 2022 and is designed to serve students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aged 7 to 18.
Linda leads a passionate multi-professional team that is committed to empowering students and caregivers through tailored learning plans and holistic intervention to maximise their potential to thrive.
Prior to joining AWWA, Linda spent over two decades in the Ministry of Education where she held the role of Vice-Principal (Curriculum) at CHIJ (Kellock), St Joseph’s Institution (Junior), and Radin Mas Primary School.
Linda’s participation in external committees and sectoral contributions (past and present) include:
- Piloting the MOE UPLIFT (Uplifting Pupils in Life and Inspiring Families Taskforce) programme to enhance support for students in need, and their families.
- Conceptualising the SAIL@RMPS (Supporting and Assisting Individual Learners) framework, which nurtures and creates equal opportunities for all students.
- The E3 (Enable, Enhance, Engage) 1-to-1 Computing Programme, building learner-centric practices and leveraging technology to engage learners.
Linda holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Primary) with Distinction.
