AWWA to me is…“a place which remains relevant by being progressive”.
Edwin joined AWWA in 2012 and currently oversees AWWA’s Early Intervention Continuum and Development Support/Learning Support Service. He has also held other senior positions within the organisation with the last being Director of AWWA Family Services.
Prior to joining AWWA, Edwin held leadership positions with TOUCH Community Services for persons with mild intellectual disability, as well as for RiverLife Centre for Youth.
Edwin has also served as a member of the Social Service Office – Family Service Centre Business Integration Sub-Committee (Ministry of Social and Family Development), the Steering Committee for Mrs Lee Choon Guan Endowed Research Fund and the Steering Committee for Social-Health Integration. Edwin also once presented at an ASEAN Community-Based Healthcare Forum.
Edwin holds a Bachelor of Psychology and postgraduate diplomas in Disability Studies and Social Work. He is a registered social worker, and a therapist in Mediated Learning Experience and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Edwin has attended courses offered by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, and completed the ACE Capstone Leadership Programme.
