AWWA to me is… “where meaningful relationships meet purpose in action” 

Angie is the Principal of AWWA School @ Bedok, reporting to Senior Director (Disability & Inclusion) Bruce. AWWA School @ Bedok serves students aged 7 to 18, who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Angie leads her multi-professional team with a focus on fostering a nurturing environment that maximises each student’s potential to thrive. 

Prior to helming AWWA School @ Bedok, Angie was the Vice Principal of AWWA School @ Napiri, which serves students aged 7 to 18 with multiple disabilities and/or autism, and was responsible for the professional development of staff in the school. She also led the creation of educational programmes aimed at supporting students and their families to maximise their participation in society.  

Angie brings over two decades of experience in the disability sector, including leadership roles across local and international programmes within the disability and early intervention domains.  

Angie holds a Masters in Special Education from Flinders University and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Sociology) from the National University of Singapore.
