Joined and Appointed 01/09/2025

AWWA to me is…“about possibilities”.

Bruce is AWWA’s Senior Director of Disability and Inclusion, reporting to CEO Karthik. He oversees AWWA’s children, youth and adult disability services, including the Early Intervention Continuum, the Development Support and Learning Support programme, Kindle Garden – Singapore’s first inclusive preschool, the Community Integration Service, AWWA Home and Day Activity Centre, as well as the two Special Education schools in Bedok and Napiri. He works with service leads and colleagues, stakeholders, and partners to provide holistic care and enhanced outcomes across the Disability Continuum.

Prior to AWWA, Bruce was in the senior management team in the National Council of Social Service, where he helped social service agencies leverage technology and innovation, develop organisational capabilities, and harness community strengths to achieve better outcomes for service users. With a career spanning the private, public and non-profit sectors, he brings over two decades of strategic leadership and capability development expertise to AWWA.

Outside of work, Bruce volunteers as Board Chairman of an arts charity – ArtsWok Collaborative, and Advisor to two other arts charities – Artery and Odyssey Dance Theatre. He holds a Master’s in IT and a Bachelor of Communication Studies.
