As part of the Stroke Rehab Ecosystem, a new $6.59 million rehabilitation initiative in Singapore will introduce a specialised gym designed specifically for stroke patients. The gym, set to open at AMK Hub shopping mall, will feature equipment and programmes tailored to help stroke survivors regain mobility, strength, and independence. This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve rehabilitation services and outcomes for stroke patients, who often face long-term physical challenges after their initial treatment. The Stroke Rehab Ecosystem will see Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and TTSH work with community partners, including AWWA, NTUC Health and St Luke’s Eldercare, to develop personalised rehabilitation programmes for stroke patients.
