NTU and NHG Health have launched “Rehability,” a new postgraduate training ecosystem for physiotherapists in Singapore, offering a structured three-tiered pathway featuring residency and specialist certifications, as well as workshops to upskill practitioners and healthcare workers. This initiative aims to build advanced competencies, expand physiotherapists’ roles, and support career progression to address rising chronic disease rates, with programmes starting from 2026 and a target enrolment of hundreds of professionals over several years. Courses will be developed by NHG Health, together with social service agency AWWA and SPD, a charity that helps people with disabilities.
