We look after your well-being and health as a caregiver by:

  • Providing information on caregiving resources
  • Referring you to service providers
  • Training you in caregiving
  • Facilitating caregiver support groups
  • Educating the public

We also support service providers and collaborate with partners on research in caregiving.

Management

The AWWA Centre For Caregivers is managed by volunteer on the  Caregivers Services Management Committee (PDF), assisted by a team of employees  (PDF) led by our Director, Ms Sangeeta Rajgopal, who reports to the AWWA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tim Oei.

Funding

The operating costs of the AWWA Centre For Caregivers are partially funded by grants from the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports and the National Council of Social Service. We seek donations for non-funded expenses such as capital expenditure and subsidies to help our lower income clients.

Donations to the AWWA Centre For Caregivers are tax-exempted.
