The reason for their efforts could be for nothing less than The Beautiful Game. It was the first round of the Lee Hsien Loong Challenge Trophy - National Street Soccer League 2010 and the 4 boys, who called themselves AWWA Lions, were playing in the Under-14 category.

That morning was the chance for AWWA Lions to show their stuff; and show it - they most certainly did! Over the course of the day, the boys played in 3 matches. Despite the hot sun and injuries, the boys gave their best and their efforts were rewarded! They emerged as Group Champions!

Next up is the Zone Finals in July 2010. Should they prevail, they will be playing in the Grand Finals.
