The art of creative learning

Art bridges the gap between language and communication through creative expression and experience. Visuals take the place of words to tell the story. Our Art Department, abbreviated as AWWArt aims to provide a holistic approach in the overall development of our students through art-related activities in order to promote creative thinking and expression.

The KALEIDOSCOPE Club is one of the many programs run by the AWWArt. As the name suggests, visual art is a kaleidoscopic world of colours and patterns.

Through art and craft activities, students learn and develop in a leisurely and unthreatening environment. Conducted in groups, it promotes social interaction among peers. Activities are sensory-based and our current theme is making art using the paper mache technique. Students are also provided with the opportunity to work together in projects with other organisations.  This enhances exposure and interaction with the community as well as offers our students experiences such as that of enjoying performances by Act3 Productions, etc.
